Micki Pellerano is a Cuban-American artist working in draftsmanship,
performance and film. He graduated with a BFA in experimental theater
from
New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Praised by
the New York
Times as a “gifted young Post-Neo Symbolist,” Pellerano’s work
has
exhibited widely in institutions including MoMA PS1,The Brooklyn
Museum,
The Museum of Art and Design,The Norton Museum of Art, the Perth
International Arts Festival, and the Galleria Comunale in Monfalcone,
Italy. Selected additional publications include The New Yorker,
Vice
Magazine, Zing Magazine, Jalouse and Bomb; as well as Printed Matter
and
Disinformation anthologies. His extensive work in music video has been
featured by Interview Magazine, Pitchfork Media, Stereogum, and The
Quietus
. Pellerano lives and works in Brooklyn.
