Harlem Renaissance + Prohibition + Urban Fantasy In the heyday of the
Prohibition Era and the Roaring Twenties, the government has outlawed
magic and the supernatural, declaring them to be wild, dangerous vices
no longer acceptable in decent society. Driven underground into
speakeasies that cater to all things occult, vampires pick off bums
and hide from cops; witches sell gin and bourbon laced with spells in
seedy bars, exclusive clubs, and everything in between; and werewolves
hold fight clubs in crowded, damp basements, trying to make rent
money. [An ongoing thesis project by Myisha Haynes.] ||Concept Art||
