Photos, art, and literature about all things fish. Science,
conservation, and husbandry abound. I primarily focus on freshwater
fish and inverts, but some marine stuff sneaks in here, too. About the
author I’m a freshwater fisheries biologist and aquarist. I have
been keeping aquariums since 2007. I’ve only been into planted tanks
since 2012, but I feel pretty comfortable with them now. Currently I
only have a 29 gal softwater planted and a 3500 gal koi pond, but I
have had experience with goldfish and betta in the past. I use the
