re: Me I’m the owner of my own micro-business, a freelance design
and consulting firm. A couple years ago, I graduated Summa Cum Laude
from Missouri Baptist University with a BS* in Communications and a BA
in History, there was also a Writing Certificate in English thrown in
for good measure. I worked for three non-profits before I was 20
(Academy of Science of St. Louis, MASRF, and First Free Church).
I’ve worked for two more since then. I have a tendency to work for
the same organizations more than once - I’m not sure what that
says. I started my first company when I was four years old. I
can’t decide if I want to go back to school for my Masters of
Communication and Leadership Studies, DPhil in Anthropology and
Conflict Studies, PhD in Environmental Paleontology - or all three**.
Unlike my other attempts at blogging*** - I’m using tumblr for goal
setting, project development, and as a digital mood board. My name is
Pam Smith. I’m a twenty-something. And I’m still trying to
figure out what I want to do when I grow up. *I know, is it any wonder
I do marketing and pr work…I mean, I have a BS degree. It was
bound to happen.**Not concurrently, mind you. And honestly, I’ve
decided to do the Masters first and see how that goes.***I love to
write, I just find that real-life and the things I’m paid to do tend
to intrude on my ability to navel-gaze as much as I’d like.
