Hello hello. I’m Jill. Welcome to my chaotic, wildly unthemed
corner of the Internet. I’m an American-born girl who was raised in
the Philippines and Scotland. I feel like a foreigner here in the
US, and it’s always been that way. I live to read and to write. I
read and I write to live. Snow, ice, and grey skies are as beautiful
and peaceful to me as flowers, green grass, and sunny days are to most
people. I have synesthesia. It makes me feel like I have
superpowers. Ferrets and camels are my favourite animals of all time.
I have a ferret named Draco. He is the cutest, most perfect animal
in the entire known universe. One of my dreams is to live above the
Arctic circle for at least a year. There are no places more
enchanting and gorgeous than the Arctic and Antarctic. Bantayan
Island gets an honourary mention. Vodka and whiskey are god’s gift
to mankind. The French Revolution saved my life. I could read anything
by Margaret Atwood, Wallace Stevens, Voltaire, J.R.R. Tolkien, Sylvia
Plath, and H.P. Lovecraft for hours. I have the best followers any
Tumblrite could ever ask for. I am amazing at Tetris. I’m pretty
