Comments on About Me (and a little bit of blog history)

The blog has grown into more of a parenting column revolving around interviews and issues, and fewer cute stories about my kids. If I had to develop a mission statement for this site, it would be to help remove the element of competition which seems to constantly exist between mothers and fathers, and stay-at-home parents and office parents, and all the other groups we fight to include ourselves in.
