I am a Canadian Born Chinese (CBC) that grew up in an old school Asian household where my parents believed everything in the world was dangerous and that music was the only extra curricular activity worth enrolling in. Now I’m a proud mother to a beautiful 4 year old son and a 6 month old daughter trying to find the balance between being cool, hip and “besties” with my kids kind of mom, with the innate “Tiger Mom” that resides inside of me. As I struggle to find the best kind of parenting from both worlds in my blog, I hope you will find my family stories entertaining, my parenting tips helpful and my family recipes delicious. Being Chinese is a big part of who I am and I would like to continue to see those roots passed on to my kids. Becoming a mother was the most life changing experience for me and I can’t help but share all I have learned through this blog and discover new way to help my kids develop and grow in to young adults. If you enjoy what you see here, please vote for me using the Top Mommy Blogs Badge located on the side bar of my home page. Thank you for joining me on this journey.Sincerely, Amy aka.
