Welcome to The Box Scene Project The Box Scene Project is a nonprofit
organization working to harness the passion of fans to achieve equal
media representation for the LGBT* community, people of color, women,
people with disabilities, and those that live at the intersection of
those identities. We believe the power and passion of fans can
create social change. For fandom, for equality because
representation matters. Since our inception, we’ve demonstrated fan
support for equal media representation by successfully lobbying for
the release of a deleted scene between TV’s most popular gay teen
couple, and raising over $130,000 for charity.

Fandom For Equality Blog The Box Scene Project has launched our effort
to unite multiple fans and fandoms to bring attention to the
importance of and help achieve equal representation for LGBT/minority
characters, actors, and issues on network TV. I See Me In… “I See
Me In…” is a fan-driven public awareness campaign brought to you
by The Box Scene Project. We create a space for fans to tell their
reflection stories in their own voice. Have Project Ideas for Us? Let
