I’m insane. Rather, the matter of my sanity is differential when compared to that of others. My idea of concepts like beauty, hilarity, justice, and reality sometimes stand in stark contrast to those held by society. Although these concepts are not “normal,” the imperfection of their being is what creates both their attraction as well as the “beauty” of their “perfect” counterparts. Without these pieces that catch my interest, though they may sometimes appear to be morbid, bizarre, “ugly,” and frightening, there is no concept of their opposites. A rose is as ugly as garbage, and garbage is as beautiful as a rose.
