I started this blog originally to document techniques, processes,
recipes, and associated goings-on of home made beer in a small
apartment in the metro Washington DC area. In short, the art and
science of brewing high quality beer on a low-budget, low-tech system.

As it’s gone along over the years, I’ve also started using it as a
place for general beer ramblings, homebrew, craft, or otherwise.

And most recently, some occasional bits on my journey into the world
of actually getting paid to brew beer professionally.
