The School of Music is a vibrant community of musical performers,
composers, scholars, and educators. Designated a Program of Excellence
by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, the UNC School of
Music provides a comprehensive range of degrees and programs for
aspiring musician.UNC-educated musicians have gone on to success in
every musical discipline and field imaginable including orchestral and
band performance, opera, composition, jazz performance and arranging,
film scoring, conducting, solo instrumental and vocal performance,
music publishing, and more. Our graduates are successful as educators
in classrooms from Greeley to Los Angeles, New York, and Bangkok, at
