code4lib is an IRC channel, a mailing list, and a conference for folks
interested in the convergence of computers and library/information
science. The channel grew out of the email list as a more informal and
interactive way to discuss code, projects, ideas, and other random
topics. Planet code4lib aggregates the journaling of some of the
people in the room, and our most recent addition is a conference where
we can all get some face time and share our latest projects.
