Throughout his 20-year career, John G. Wilcox, MD, FACOG, has been
consistently recognized for his achievements in reproductive medicine.
At HRC Fertility, one of the premier fertility programs in the United
States, Dr. John G. Wilcox has gained widespread media recognition for
his dedication to patient care. In addition to receiving the “Best
Doctors in Southern California” designation from the Los Angeles
Times, Dr. John G. Wilcox was voted “Top Doctor” three years in a
row by Pasadena Magazine in 2008, 2009, and 2010. As Managing Partner
and Reproductive Endocrinologist at HRC Fertility, Dr. John G. Wilcox
has helped guide the growth of the program, helping it to become one
of the largest reproductive centers in the United States, while
ensuring that patients receive both cutting-edge treatment and
individual care. Highly qualified and comprehensively trained, Dr.
John G. Wilcox has received a number of awards for his research and
academic accomplishments. An outstanding student, Dr. John G. Wilcox
was recognized for academic excellence at the University of
California, San Diego, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in
Biomedical Engineering, and at The Keck School of Medicine of the
University of Southern California (USC), where he earned his Doctor of
Medicine in 1990. During his OB/GYN residency and subsequent
fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, also
completed at USC, Dr. John G. Wilcox balanced his training and
teaching commitments with successful research efforts. As a resident,
Dr. John G. Wilcox received the Ortho Pharmaceutical Uwe Goebelsmann,
MD Memorial Resident Research Award and was recognized for the best
research project of his class, while also receiving the Searle
Pharmaceutical Award, recognizing him as Outstanding Resident Teacher
in Obstetrics. Dr. John G. Wilcox is board certified in OB/GYN,
reproductive endocrinology, and infertility, and holds professional
affiliations with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American
Medical Association. In his spare time, Dr. John G. Wilcox volunteers
with Little League and participates in fundraising activities for area
churches and schools. He lives and works in Pasadena, California.
